values???? what are "southern values" people always talk about?
What values do you think are most important to instill in children? TO help with your answer: "Your personal code of values are what's important to you; not something you want or would like to have, but something you literally need in your life to be true to yourself. A value is a principle or quality intrinsically valuable or desirable to you. Values are personal. They are your convictions, your beliefs, and your ethics rolled into one."
How many different values of infinity are there? This is not as stupid as it sounds... It can be shown that the total number of Natural numbers is the same as the total number of Integers. This seems counter-intuitive because the Natural numbers don't include negative integers, so it seems there should be twice as many integers as natural numbers, but actually there are the same number. Another strange thing is that there are the same number of rational numbers(fractions) as integers, despite the fact there are many fractions between two consecutive integers! These two strange facts can be proved by considering a one-to-one mapping between natural numbers and integers, or natural numbers and fractions - you'll never run out of natural numbers to count them. This value of infinity is called aleph-0. However, this does not work with irrational numbers such as π and root 2. There really are more irrational numbers than any other type. This value of infinity is called aleph-1 My question: are there any more values of infinity? Bunny - if you aren't interested in maths, why are you here? Becky M - I don't think infinity has a sign. Sometimes functions will zoom off towards positive infinity, and then come back from negative infinity, so maybe it wraps around? Bunny - abuse reported

How are small town values different from those who reside in large metropolitan areas ? Fred Thompson said in his speech that Sarah Palin was from a small town and had small town values. What exactly does that mean. ? I am from Philadelphia( the sixth most populous city in America) and I want to know why coming from a large city is bad. I go to work, pay my taxes and even attend church regularly.I care for and love my country just like someone from a city of 6,000. Do people in small towns feel superior to us? Do they think they have the upperhand when it comes to values and morals? I am just curious.
How do I make a function return multiples values in visual basic ? Ok, I need to create a function than returns multiple values. I'm writing a program to calculate values for a game. One of the formulae uses two values X and Y and needs to return two different values rather than one. I know I could use two functions but the whole point is to write as little code as possible so functions are very useful.

What limits the precision of the values in a combustion of Mg? We did a lab in which we did two separate experiments. In the first one we reacted Mg with HCl and in the second one we reacted MgO with HCl. We had to find out their molar enthalpies. One of the questions . What are the values of x and y in the formula that is given? It required 7.6 mL of a 0.134 M sodium carbonate solution to precipitate all of a metal ion, which we will call Q, from 20.0 mL of a 0.102 M solution of the nitrate of Q. What is the formula of the carbonate of Qx[Qx(CO3)y] that precipitated? That is, what are the values of x and y in the formula that is given? And how did you get to the answer?

What is the formula for finding the values on a z-score table? Many places tend to direct me to probability distribution tables when I try to find the formula for calculating the actual values on the table. For example: mean = 100 Standard dev = 15 Raw score = 120 z score = 1.33 On a table, this is no problem to find, but in a scenario when I do not have a table, how do I calculate to find the percentile or (whatever the value of .9082 is called) on the table?
How do I limit what values can be put in an excel cell ? Can anyone remind me how I go about creating limited options that can be selected for certain cells in a shared workbook ? How do I write an exponential model using a given table of values? I have a table of values telling the Swan Population in Michigan for certain years. I've checked the first and second differences, neither of which are constant and I'm not sure where to go from there. Also, the years do not have a constant difference either. The values are: 1987=4 1990=10 1991=45 1996=140 1999=285 2000=400 2003=565 I need to predict what the number will be in 2012.

What do they mean values of x that may not be appriopiate values? Describe the values for x that may not be appropriate values even when they are defined by your classmates' function. A function could, for example, indicate the amount of bone strength (y) in a living human body over time in years (x). It would not make sense to look at negative years, because the person would not yet be born. Likewise, looking beyond 100 years might not make sense, as many people do not live to be 100.
How do I create lists of unique values for multiple columns in Excel for large datasets? I have multiple columns, and I need to extract unique values for each column separately. Pivot table seems to be the fastest for large datasets, but I have to do one column at a time. Macro code does it for me, but it is very slow. Advanced filter also does it one column at a time, and is more cumbersome than pivot table. If I can use the unique fields function from pivot table into macro, it would be a lot faster. Any ideas?
macro that sums values in excel until they reach a specified total, insert a break then start the sum over? I need a macro that will sum the values in a column until they reach a specific total, then inserts a line (as a break between sets of values) and starts the sum over with the remaining cells. Basically I need to break columns into sections via specified ceiling on a running total. I need a macro that will sum the values in a column until they reach a specific total, then inserts a line (as a break between sets of values) and starts the sum over with the remaining cells. Basically I need to break columns into sections via specified ceiling on a running total. The below answer did not work because it was inserting breaks but when I summed the segments it broke up, their sum was greater than 100. I need a macro to break a column of numbers into segments via row inserts by a specified total, and those segments when added up need to be LESS THAN OR EQUAL to that total I specify

How can I discuss how my values are aligned with social work value of the importance of human relationships? and the context of enhancing the well being of vulnerable groups? Relationships are a part of life. The relationships we have with family will affect every aspect of our lives. Our relationships also provide for our most basic human needs. While helping us to have a fulfilling life, our relationships encourage us to reach our fullest potential. Through our relationships, we are sustained in our personal growth and developement. The family unit is very important whether you are a child or an adult. Our relationships are the substance to how each of us grow and interact with each other. The relationship substance strengthens our bonds and builds trust. As we grow, we learn from life experiences after leaving our parents. Re-enforcement of values is what makes us who we are as individuals. For example, support and confidence from others helps to mold us into being a positive part of society. What makes an individual who they are, is contributed by everyone who has helped and guided that person. Relationships play a central role throughout our lives. The family structure may be different for every individual. For example, whether our family structure is composed of one or both parents, or other family member, strong support from others is important for that individuals' well being.

What is going to happen to our Christian values in this country now that Barack is president? I can not sleep I am so worried about this country! I believe that John McCain and especially the VP Sarah Palin would have been fundamental in restoring the Christian values that this country stands for. How on earth are we going to get through this? All these economic crisis's and troubles could only have been solved by God! No one else. What is now going to become of us? Why did America turn away from God?
What are the Rf values for food coloring? I have a lab report and I need the Rf values for substances in food coloring. I need it to compare with the data we got in our experiment. I've been searching the Internet for these values, but I haven't found any. We used paper chromatography and our teacher gave us this dye. After we saw the results, there were a red, yellow, and blue color on the paper. We got the Rf values after that and now we have to figure out what kind of substances were in the dye using the Rf values. So, now I need to know certain Rf values for substances in food coloring to check if they have the same Rf value as the ones in our dye.
