Thinking of moving to Pittsburgh-areas that are recommended?
My husband and I are planning on moving to Pittsburgh in the summer of next year. We are mid twenties with one young child. Any townships or other areas that are recommended to live or any that we must avoid? Thanks for your input. Would you recomend Penn Hills, Bethel Park, Moon-Crescent Twp? Thanks for the advice to research-been doing that-however-hoping for a more personal response from experience of the area.

- Do your research on school districts. My sister in law did alot of research before moving to the Pittsburgh area. She found a great district and started looking for a house in that district. She couldnt be happier now.
- MOUNT LEBANON IS GREAT. UPSCALE NEIGHBORHOOD. I LIKE IT OUT IN THE OUTSKIRTS OF PITTSBURGH AROUND LEVELGREEN PA. WAS BEAUTIFUL. CHECK OUT MONROEVILLE. ALSO ONE MORE THING BEFORE I GO GO STEELERS GO. IF YOU LIKE A CLLEGE ATMOSPERE GO TO OAKLAND PA. LOTS OF ATTRACTION MUSEUMS CULTURE AREAS. ANOTHER THING GO STEELERS GO. GOOD LUCK
- I love Penn Hills,Mount Lebanon and Downtown (quiet blocks, condos w ammenities) I found interesting information about your answer & the best options here. http://www.realstateamerica.com/ciudad.php?ciudad=Pittsburgh%20PA Good luck!
- I'll tell you the places you need to AVOID are East Liberty, the Hill District, and South Oakland. Other areas, like Squirrel Hill, are okay.
