How should I distribute free tickets to staff members?
My department usually buys tickets for charitable events. How can we distribute to members of staff? Email is the primary mode of communication. (Games maybe?)

- Games, or as rewards for things like perfect attendance, or depending on the company sales records or positive feedback from customers. Rewards can be a great way of boosting morale and job satisfaction, also showing employees they are valued and respected.
- are you saying you have a limited amount of tickets? so everyone can't get one? if so you could do some sort of raffle, that way it will be fair.
- You ask people if they want to go to a particular event. You take the names of the people who want to go and assign each name a number. You use a random number program to pick numbers that only include the assigned numbers. You give the people whose numbers match the tickets.
- Good idea, but be careful not to go too far. Personally, sometimes work contests get "too cute", but many people love it that way. Maybe mix it up so you catch both types of people. If it were me, I would make it a reward if the tickets are in high demand. If only a few people really want to go,ask who wants to go and then draw from the names. If you are looking for ideas about what to reward, ask for the best cost saving measure, sales numbers, nomintion for exemplifying company core values, etc...
