What can I do with a career in criminal justice besides become a cop?

I really like keeping up with news, etc, and I'm also trained to handle combative situations, however I do not want to be a police officer because of the hours and the inherit dangers, but I really like studying behavior, criminology, and law. Just wondering what I could do with a bachelor's(or higher) in criminal justice or criminology? Thanks!

  1. f.b.i you sound great for it
  2. Lawyer? =/
  3. be a judge be a judge's Secretary (good pay to)
  4. fbi
  5. private eye? para-legal? lawyer? councillor?
  6. A law clerk, Paralegal, or anything in the government offices. Look into becoming an attorney.
  7. you could get a career in being a lawyer, detective, crime scene investigator, judge, a forensic scientist, or a criminal/forensic pathologist who studies the behavior of criminals and why they might have committed a crime.
  8. How about phsychological analyst for the CIA..
  9. Check into Forensics or Detective work.
  10. I also have a degree in criminal justice, but there aren't very many opportunities in the state where I live (only if you know someone). You could apply to the FBI or another fed. gov. agency. Your state might have their own Bureau of Investigation. Here are a few links. You can also Google "criminal justice jobs" or "criminal justice career resources" and see what else pops up.
  11. How about the legal profession? For instance, if it's Criminal Law that you're interested in (which is very interesting), you could pursue criminal defence work or criminal prosecution.......
