Is it worth getting a criminal justice degree if I just want to do administrative work?

The college I am going to has the degree titled "Criminal Justice" Point blank. No huge description.. Well what exactly does that entail? I don't want to enroll in these classes to become a police officer. I would be happy doing something on the side like background checks, paralegal, legal admin, or anything with administrative duties. Is a criminal justice degree good for all of these jobs?

  1. Absolutely. I would definately look into getting a degree like that. You need to have some post high-school education before most employers will give you a chance.
  2. I think it would be a very good idea. Just in case you change your career plans as well. But beside that. It would be wisest to get it.
